 Where in Kyoto ?

About 8 km (5 mile) North-East of JR Kyoto Station. See the above Google Map for the exact location. 
By Keihan line: from Jingu-Marutamachi Station, 10 min walk to the north-east.
By Taxi: Take a taxi at the North Exit of JR Kyoto Station. Our school is located on Konoe Street between Kawabata and Higashiyama Avenues. Please tell the driver that the building is the north of Kyoto University Hospital. It may take 20-30 min to get to the main gate of our school depending on traffic condtion (approximately 1800 yen).
By Kyoto City Bus: Get on a #4, #17, or #205 bus at A2 bus stop of JR Kyoto Station North Exit. Get off at 'Kohjin-guchi' bus stop (230 yen). Eight minutes walk to the East across Kamo River.

Our lab is located on the second floor of main building.
Professor Kaneko is in Room #A216, and Drs. Shirakawa and Nagayasu are in Room #A214.
