Yuki Itakura

I am interested in how nanoscale structures are formed outside cells. Inspired by the sophisticated structures that support biological functions and often surprised by unexpected experimental results, I explore the principles that underlie their formation. I particularly enjoy electron microscopy and genome editing.

Koshi Tasaki

My research focuses on the diverse functions of microtubules, one of the major cytoskeletal components. Drawing on my experience in molecular and cellular biology during my doctoral studies, I am now working to understand the role of microtubules in lumen formation in epithelial tissues.
