Announcement of Recruitment of a Tenure Track Associate Professor(closure)

Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyoto University announces the recruitment of a Tenure Track Associate Professor as below.

This position is based on an advanced drug discovery research project and one associated professor (tenure track) will be employed. The employment period as a tenure track associate professor is 6 years, and he/she will become a tenure associate professor based on the evaluation results at the third year and the fifth year. Selection will be done through screening of documents and through interviews, according to the criteria as follows: (1) research achievement at the international level, (2) research ability to lead the fields of the advanced drug discovery research, and (3) cooperative ability to conduct education and research in the graduate school.

Promising researchers regardless of any nationality are encouraged to apply for the positions.

The following research fields are recruited. In particular, the integrated fields with advanced omics analysis and drug discovery would be preferable.

Qualifications
Each applicant must have obtained a Ph. D. within 10 years, and must agree with the regulations concerning tenure positions, Kyoto University.
Starting date of appointment
October 1, 2012 or later.

  • Two letters of reference by the people above. (Letters in English acceptable. Each to be sealed in an envelope by the referee him/herself. To be either submitted together with other documents in one package, or sent separately by simplified registered mail(*). Must arrive by the deadline.)
