Educational Philosophy and Human Resources Development Policy

The concept of the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is to construct an innovative center for ‘drug discovery’ and ‘medical care’ and to contribute to human health and social development by educating professionals and cultivating human resources to become pharmaceutical researchers or leading pharmacists responsible for sophisticated treatments through knowledge acquisition and research in the pharmaceutical sciences.

Based on bioethics, the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences aspires to educate professionals and cultivate human resources, who have acquired the basic knowledge and technical skills in various academic fields related with the natural sciences fundamental to pharmaceutical sciences and appropriate attitudes as researchers or medical personnel, and to become pharmaceutical researchers having the skills, qualities and abilities needed to achieve original research in the field of drug discovery or leading pharmacists responsible for sophisticated treatments.
